Overview
CarterCarder is a private sports-card research and portfolio application. This policy explains the information processed when an authorized user signs in and uses the service.
Information processed
- Account information, including the email address used for authentication.
- Security and technical information, such as authentication events, timestamps, browser or device details, and network logs.
- Portfolio information supplied by a user, including card details, images, purchase information, valuations, notes, and storage details.
- Local preferences stored in the browser, including the active login session and display theme.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate authorized users, operate and secure the service, save portfolio records, calculate and display market research, diagnose errors, and maintain service reliability.
Service providers
CarterCarder relies on infrastructure and platform providers, including Supabase for authentication and data services and Cloudflare-backed services for application hosting, domain, and DNS delivery. These providers may process technical information as necessary to deliver their services under their own terms and privacy practices.
Sharing and sale
Personal information is not sold. Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect the security or integrity of the service, or to infrastructure providers that process it to operate the service.
Retention and security
Information is retained for as long as it is needed to operate the service, maintain records, meet legal obligations, or resolve security issues. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
User choices
Users can sign out to remove the active session from their browser. Portfolio information may be reviewed and updated through the available account features. Browser controls can be used to clear locally stored preferences and session data.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and it is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
